Scotland region

Faculties are organised into administrative regions to enable the sharing of best practice and the exchange of ideas at a regional level.

Cross regional collaborations operate, either through a formal arrangement or through local networking.

Local support to Scottish members is provided by five faculties covering the following geographical areas:

Regional Faculty Office

The regional office supports the faculties, by providing input into project development, acting as a link between faculties and supporting the opportunity to deliver services to members in new ways across the region.

The faculties through their Regional Office, have a close relationship with RCGP Scotland to ensure that local views are represented at both Scottish and UK Council.

Faculty Education Leads in Scotland

We currently have a vacancy in each of our Scottish Faculties for a Faculty Education Lead to curate their local education programme. As a primary care professional, you will use your grass roots knowledge and local networks to develop a relevant and comprehensive education offer for local Faculty members.
