The Faculty Board is made up of local GP volunteers who provide local networking, education, and support for members in the area. We meet four times per year to progress local engagement activities and discuss issues pertinent to members, which are then fed back to Welsh Council and College Council. Local members are welcome to attend Board meetings and participate in these discussions – we are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us develop our local engagement programme and to raise awareness of the demographic issues and needs of GPs and patients alike.
First5 Group
Having completed your training, the next step awaits! Join Dr Ping Ng, the South East Wales Faculty First5 Lead, for a complimentary exclusive learning experience designed specifically for First5s. These informal gatherings are about peer support, engaging evening sessions for career advancement, learning sessions, and networking opportunities. The evening begins with a meal, followed by an insightful talk from a guest speaker on a relevant topic. If you would like to be informed about future events please contact the Faculty office.
