Clinical policy programme

The Clinical Policy programme influences clinical policy and practice across the UK and internationally. We do this by:

  • Ensuring we are informed and actively engaging with the latest developments in clinical policy and practice
  • Identifying emerging clinical issues for the profession
  • Seeking to inform and influence decision makers on issues affecting clinical general practice
  • Gathering clinical expertise and knowledge from across the College and our membership to ensure our work reflects the needs and wants of the frontline GP
  • Representing the GP workforce on UK wide clinical policy matters
