Touch the Past - Family Fun Day at the Weald & Downland Living Museum

Learn and Connect: Newcastle 6-8 Week Baby Check 14:00

This session will be beneficial for all GPs who deliver baby checks in the surgery as well as GP registrars and newly qualified GPs who have not had formal paediatric training. During the session we will look at The Healthy Child Programme, the 6-8 week check, screening, what to do when things go wrong, and common reasons to refer.

Appraisal Made Easy - September 2026

Join us for an afternoon of getting the most from your appraisal. We look at tips on how you should prepare, how appraisal has changed since covid, toolkits and much more. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of the speaker who has been an appraisal lead for NHS England and NHS Improvement North West since 2008. North East Scotland Meet and Connect Orkney 2026

Join the RCGP North East Scotland Faculty for a full-day Learn and Connect event at The Balfour Hospital in Kirkwall, Orkney, on Saturday 5 September 2026. The day will include RCGP and Faculty updates, educational sessions, lunch and networking, and sessions with secondary care specialists, including Dr Shelagh Parkinson, Consultant Paediatrician. The event is part of the Faculty’s work to strengthen links with members and GP colleagues across the North East Scotland Faculty area, including remote and rural communities.
