This short one-day event is aimed at those on parental leave or who work whilst having young children. This free one-day programme is aimed to equip you with the confidence to return to work, an opportunity to network with local colleagues and to maximise future opportunities available. Clinical decision-making for skin infections: from Group A Strep to insect bites

Skin infections are the third most common reason for antibiotic prescribing in primary care, accounting for around 7% of antibiotic prescriptions. This webinar will explore cellulitis in different scenarios such as Group A Strep presentation and insect bites by summarising NICE prescribing guidance and best practice recommendations for management. It will also offer practical tips on how to improve antibiotic prescribing and action planning for skin infections in your practice, as well as how to provide safety netting advice.

Appraisal Made Easy

Join us for an afternoon of getting the most from your appraisal. We look at tips on how you should prepare, how appraisal has changed since covid, toolkits and much more. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of the speaker who has been an appraisal lead for NHS England and NHS Improvement North West since 2008.
