Palliative & End-of-Life Care Study Day

The Palliative & End‑of‑Life Care Study Day is a full‑day interactive event for GPs and GPST3s focusing on building confidence and competence in everyday palliative care. Led by a multidisciplinary team, it blends focused teaching, real‑world case discussions, and practical workshops covering symptom management, anticipatory prescribing, DNACPR, advance care planning, and legal responsibilities. This one-day course is open to trainees, General Practitioners and Practice Nurses in Scotland working with musculoskeletal patients. The training will support improvement in assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions, and includes training on practical use of corticosteroid joint and tissue injections.
