The RCGP’s Primary Care Development (PCD) programme is an established consultancy and development service, supporting general practice, Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and commissioners to deliver sustainable improvement in patient care.

Directly aligned to the College’s charitable mission and strategic objectives, PCD helps shape the future of general practice by strengthening leadership, improving access and tackling the operational pressures facing primary care teams across the UK.

With a national team of more than 75 experienced advisers comprised of GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and practice managers, we have supported more than 500 general practices across the UK to improve performance, meet regulatory requirements and deliver better outcomes for patients and staff.
