Clinical decision-making for skin infections: from Group A Strep to insect bites

Skin infections are the third most common reason for antibiotic prescribing in primary care, accounting for around 7% of antibiotic prescriptions. This webinar will explore cellulitis in different scenarios such as Group A Strep presentation and insect bites by summarising NICE prescribing guidance and best practice recommendations for management. It will also offer practical tips on how to improve antibiotic prescribing and action planning for skin infections in your practice, as well as how to provide safety netting advice.

Witnessing verbal and physical abuse, discrimination, racism and micro-aggression effects everyone! This session has been developed to support ALL members of the Primary Care Team.
