Clinical decision-making for skin infections: from Group A Strep to insect bites

Skin infections are the third most common reason for antibiotic prescribing in primary care, accounting for around 7% of antibiotic prescriptions. This webinar will explore cellulitis in different scenarios such as Group A Strep presentation and insect bites by summarising NICE prescribing guidance and best practice recommendations for management. It will also offer practical tips on how to improve antibiotic prescribing and action planning for skin infections in your practice, as well as how to provide safety netting advice.

Explore the benefits of green social prescribing with Natural England - Goss Moor, Cornwall

GPs and social prescribers are invited to this workshop to learn about developments in nature connection and the associated health and wellbeing benefits, green social prescribing and greening up the NHS at the Clay TAWC community hub with talks from public health and Natural England. Followed by a guided walk on the nearby beautiful Goss Moor national nature reserve which is managed by Natural England.

Appraisal Made Easy

Join us for an afternoon of getting the most from your appraisal. We look at tips on how you should prepare, how appraisal has changed since covid, toolkits and much more. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of the speaker who has been an appraisal lead for NHS England and NHS Improvement North West since 2008. Severn sustainability and wellbeing day 2026

Come and join us for our annual Planetary Health event 2026, Earth on Fire where we will have several speakers discussing various topics about sustainability and our planet. There will also be time allocated for mindfulness and wellbeing activities including a herb walk around the Penny Brohn Estate and making fire cider.
