The RCGP 1-day SCA Preparation Course

This open to all one-day training course aims to improve your consultation skills and as a result pass your SCA. The course offers interactive sessions with experienced trainers and examiners.

Active Bystander Training

Witnessing verbal and physical abuse, discrimination, racism and micro-aggression effects everyone! This session has been developed to support ALL members of the Primary Care Team. The session focuses on challenging inappropriate workplace behaviours from patients and colleagues and will give you the tools needed to be able to do this confidently.

Appraisal Made Easy

Join us for an afternoon of getting the most from your appraisal. We look at tips on how you should prepare, how appraisal has changed since covid, toolkits and much more. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of the speaker who has been an appraisal lead for NHS England and NHS Improvement North West since 2008. This event is aimed at new GPs, however, all GPs welcome to attend this event.

Severn sustainability and wellbeing day 2026

Come and join us for our annual Planetary Health event 2026, Earth on Fire where we will have several speakers discussing various topics about sustainability and our planet. There will also be time allocated for mindfulness and wellbeing activities including a herb walk around the Penny Brohn Estate and making fire cider. Our Severn sustainability and wellbeing day 2026 will be taking place at Penny Brohn, Pill, Bristol on Monday 27 April 2026. This event is Free to RCGP Members with a refundable £15 deposit (refunded provided you attend) and £30 for non RCGP Members
