Statement on Channel 4 documentary

In response to an article on the Channel 4 website announcing a forthcoming documentary about ADHD, the RCGP would like to make clear that the quote attributed to a former College President was not made on behalf of the College.
The College recognises ADHD as a neurodevelopmental condition and supports evidence-based care for people with ADHD in line with current national guidance.
Without seeing the full documentary, it would be inappropriate to comment further.
