Our popular minor surgery courses use state-of-the-art models, instruments and simulated tissues to give full hands-on training and theoretical sessions.

Topics include: Preparation and planning; instruments materials and sterilisation; local anaesthesia; basic surgical technique; epidermal cysts and abscesses; snip, scrape and shave lesions; pigmented lesions; cryosurgery; joint injection techniques and skin cancer.

This one-day course is open to trainees, General Practitioners and Practice Nurses in Scotland working with musculoskeletal patients.
