Physical activity: how to create effective health pathways

Did you know that physical activity has significant benefits for health, both physical and mental, and can help to prevent and manage over 20 chronic conditions and diseases, including some cancers, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and depression? This webinar will delve into the Active Partnerships Pathways Project, which aims to bridge the gap between health and physical activity sectors. The project focuses on creating effective physical activity pathways for individuals with long-term health conditions, ensuring they receive appropriate support and resources. Participants will learn about the project's core components, implementation strategies, and best practices from existing initiatives, all aimed at enhancing community engagement in physical activity and improving health outcomes.

Join RCGP and walk with us in the parade. Register now for your free parade wristbands! It is such an amazing atmosphere to be part of the parade and a day to remember, especially if the sun is shining. Everyone is welcome to join us, GPs, team members, patients, friends, family, EVERYONE. You don't have to be LGBTQ+, you just need to support! We start the day with a light breakfast at the Novotel Hotel in the city centre. Want to bring friends/family? The more the merrier. Just let us know how many wrist bands you would like to book.
