This 1-day Joint Injection course is aimed at practitioners working with musculoskeletal patients who would like to improve their assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions, including the role of, the theory behind and practical use of corticosteroid joint and soft tissue injections. Clinical decision making for skin infections: from Group A Strep to insect bites

Skin infections are the third most common reason for antibiotic prescribing in primary care, accounting for around 7% of antibiotic prescriptions. This webinar will explore cellulitis in different scenarios such as Group A Strep presentation and insect bites by summarising NICE prescribing guidance and best practice recommendations for management. It will also offer practical tips on how to improve antibiotic prescribing and action planning for skin infections in your practice, as well as how to provide safety netting advice.
