RCGP Scotland | 1 Day Joint Injections | 14 May

Due to demand, we are hosting two, separate, one-day Joint Injections courses on Tuesday 14 May and Wednesday 15 May. This course is open to trainees, General Practitioners and Practice Nurses in Scotland working with musculoskeletal patients, who would like to improve their assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions, including practical use of corticosteroid joint and tissue injections. This is a highly practical course and consists of a series of short and punchy lectures in the morning, followed by hands-on demonstrations and supervised practice for the rest of the day.

Discover Balint

Join us for an informal evening event taking place on the evening of Tuesday 14 May 2024 - 19:30 - 21:30. This is a taster session for GPs to explore the role of Balint Groups in nurturing professional development and boosting morale and will be an opportunity to hear about Balint groups, experience a Balint Group session and express an interest in joining a new Balint group for GPs for six sessions. This event is Free to RCGP Members and just £15 for non RCGP Members.

RCGP Scotland | 2 Day Minor Surgery Course

This two-day course is open to trainees, General Practitioners and Practice Nurses and will enable attendees to develop the skills required to run a successful minor surgery service in primary care. Topics covered include; minor skin procedures and non-surgical techniques, as well as advice about how to set up a service and the medico-legal and contractual obligations required of those practicing minor surgery.
