North East Scotland | An Introduction to Lifestyle Medicine

This session will provide an introduction to Lifestyle Medicine and its role in preventing, managing and, where possible, reversing chronic disease. The talk will explore the six pillars of Lifestyle Medicine as recognised by the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, including healthy eating, physical activity, sleep, mental well-being, healthy relationships, and minimising harmful substances. Dr Julie Gray will also discuss the practical application of Lifestyle Medicine within everyday clinical practice and highlight opportunities for further learning, training and involvement in the field.
