12 August 2020
With the July RCA complete, and the August diet soon to conclude, I am pleased to now be able to share further clarity around timings for the RCA in November, and to confirm further sittings of the RCA for next year.
November
Dates for RCA applications and submission of consultation recordings have now been published on the RCGP website as follows:
- Apply via website: between 22 September and 23 October
- Deadline for submissions: 9 November
- Assessment period: 11-27 November
- Results published: 3 December
As you can see, we have brought forward the booking window, and will be keeping it open longer, to enable trainees to gather more consultations once booked on the exam, and having access to the FourteenFish platform.
There will be no deanery prioritisation for this diet.
2021 dates
There will be three windows in which to take the RCA between February and May 2021.
We want to give trainees as much notice to plan your year as possible and these are outlined below in the table.
We will provide more information around booking windows once this has been agreed.
