Connective Tissue Disorders

Connective tissue disorder is a description for a vast variety of inherited and acquired presentations that can affect all organ systems of the human body. Their impact can vary from being mildly inconvenient to significantly affecting a patient?s quality and length of life. This course will address the most common presentations in general practice with a focus on early diagnosis and management within primary care based multidisciplinary teams and in collaboration with secondary care.

Common atopic presentations in primary care

Following the successful launch of the RCGP's eLearning modules on Allergy these short but in-depth screencasts have been developed to improve GPs' management of common allergies as well as patient outcomes. Peanut allergy rhinitis asthma and atopic eczema are four of the most common presentations in primary care and these screencasts highlight best practice in managing these.
