Cumbria Faculty Board - November 2026

Our Faculty Board meets quarterly (February, June, September, and November), primarily online. It comprises GP volunteers, lay representatives, and members from groups like First5 and GP registrars. Volunteers bring insights, share local updates, and shape general practice via feeding in to National Council Meetings. We encourage local GPs to join the Faculty board and contribute actively.

Minor Surgery Skills | Joint Injections | London

This highly practical, joint injection course is aimed at those working with musculoskeletal patients who would like to improve their assessment, diagnosis and management of the conditions, including the role of, the theory behind and practical use of corticosteroid joint and soft tissue injections. The course is suitable for all skill levels.

This is a fun and interactive workshop giving non-clinical staff the required skills to break down even the longest medical words into something understandable. Delegates will learn the basic rules of terminology and how to apply them to a number of typical in-practice situations.
