General practice has been open throughout the pandemic, mainly remotely, but in person if necessary. It’s frustrating to be told otherwise, without evidence to back it up, and when we’re working in such a way because we’re following national guidance - from NHS England.

Update from Scottish Council

It was great to see so many colleagues from across Scotland (albeit virtually!) at Scottish Council which took place on Wednesday evening. As usual, there was full discussion on a wide range of topics, says Dr Carey Lunan, Chair of RCGP Scotland.

Requirements that were suggested guidance for the emergency summer exam diets are now becoming mandatory

The refreshed guidance, which will be published shortly, has been developed with the full collaboration of COGPED and incorporates feedback from trainees who took the RCA exam in the summer, says Dr Michael Mulholland, RCGP Vice Chair for Professional Development.
