RCGP Fellowship

We award fellowship in recognition of a significant contribution to medicine, and general practice in particular. Fellows are ambassadors for RCGP.

Fellowship is an honour and mark of achievement recognising a significant contribution to:

  • Health and welfare of the community
  • Science or practice of medicine
  • Aims of RCGP, or any organisation which benefits general practice.

Fellowship update January 2021

We have put a temporary pause on the use of the online system for Fellowship applications. This is due to technical issues with the system as well as the need to introduce some changes to the Fellowship process as agreed by RCGP Council.

If you have an application in progress on the online system or you are supporting someone else's application, please contact the local faculty of the candidate. Our staff can advise you how to proceed with completing any outstanding parts of the application.

If you would like to start a new application, we request that you await the introduction of the new process which will be launched mid-Spring. We look forward to sharing this with you soon.
