Stress management in healthcare workers: an occupational health view

This session is delivered by Dr Asma Khan who is a dual qualified GP and an Occupational Health Physician. She is extremely passionate about occupational wellbeing and stress management. As a GP in the city of London for 10 years and since 2013 as a full time occupational health physician, she has significant experience in advising on all aspects of mental well being of employees and specialises in stress management.

Doctors are more likely to be subject to a complaint today compared to the likelihood 10 years ago. Through interactive polling and real cases, this session will provide an overview of complaints and the GMC's role. We will consider GMC complaints data, explore key risk factors and common complaints and improve our understanding of GMC thresholds.
