South London - MRCGP CSA Exam Preparation 2 day Course-29-30 January 2020

The South London Faculty are hosting the RCGP Renowned MRCGP CSA Preparation course to help GP Trainees get ready for their CSA Examination. This two-day course covers a day of theory, followed by a day of practical role play sessions and is delivered by highly skills trainers and examiners. Course is run at RCGP and 2nd day is spent in the Examination Center.

Primary Care and Cancer Matters: GP Train the Trainer Workshop

Minor Surgery with DOPS, 23-24 April 2020 (NE London)

This Minor Surgery course includes an evidence-based approach to skin surgery in general practice with a hands-on programme for education appraisal accreditation and revalidation with the usual certificates for CPD and DOPS assessment. We cover the whole range of procedures from the additional services to the DES. It offers a high tutor to delegate ratio and the small group work allows for an introduction to, or fine-tuning of technical skills, supported by current published literature and guidance. A review of the current medicolegal landscape highlights the pitfalls to avoid with ease. Taught by tutors with a background in general practice and led by the education lead for the Association of Surgeons in Primary Care and an expert witness for the MPS MDU and GMC this course guides you to an enjoyable stress-free minor surgery practice.

We focus particularly on distinct presentations especially relevant to adult patients and paediatric presentations. This day is particularly targeted at doctors and nurses working in the primary care setting, but any interested healthcare professionals are welcome to attend.
