Welcome to the RCGP Revalidation ePortfolio
The Revalidation ePortfolio has been developed
by the RCGP, working closely with GPs, to ensure that it will
support the needs of GPs, GP appraisers and primary care
organisations (PCOs) as a comprehensive appraisal and revalidation
toolkit.
The Revalidation ePortfolio is
free of charge for PCOs, GP appraisers and RCGP
members.
The Revalidation ePortfolio should be
considered as a ‘transitional tool’ because it will
be developed in line with national requirements relating to
appraisal and revalidation. Further information can be

Who can use the tool?
Appraisees:
All College members can use the tool to record CPD and
export their portfolio at any time as a PDF summary document.
GPs - members and non members - can use the ePortfolio's full
appraisal functionality if they are in a registered PCO.
Appraisers:
A registered PCO can assign any GP on their performers list the
role of appraiser, whether they are a member of the College or
not. They can also assign the role to GPs from outside
their organisation.
Organisations:
PCOs and designated organisations can register on the
Revalidation ePortfolio now by contacting gpeportfolio@rcgp.org.uk.
We can provide you with a 'dummy login' so that you can find
out about the tool.
Access the tool
The RCGP
Revalidation ePortfolio Registration Flow Chart
provides an
overview of the registration process.
If you are a RCGP member, you can access the
tool now at https://gpeportfolio.rcgp.org.uk
using your usual RCGP website ID and password. If you have
forgotten these, please use our
online reminder tool. If you are outside a
registered PCO, please check with your appraiser that they are
happy for you to use our tool for your current appraisal.
