RCGP Scotland | 1 Day Joint Injections | 14 May

Due to demand, we are hosting two, separate, one-day Joint Injections courses on Tuesday 14 May and Wednesday 15 May. This course is open to trainees, General Practitioners and Practice Nurses in Scotland working with musculoskeletal patients, who would like to improve their assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions, including practical use of corticosteroid joint and tissue injections. This is a highly practical course and consists of a series of short and punchy lectures in the morning, followed by hands-on demonstrations and supervised practice for the rest of the day.

This short session invites all general practice staff to learn about the Oxford-RCGP Research and Surveillance Centre (RSC) and its past, present, and future trials. The presenters will delve into the latest RSC initiatives, discuss updates to the research program, and showcase the RSC’s achievements. The event is scheduled to coincide with International Clinical Trial Day, and highlight exciting new ways to engage in research opportunities, from NIHR-portfolio studies, national surveillance, and clinical research.
