The North West England Faculty supports over 2,900 members, Fellows, Associates and Associates in Training in Central and Greater Manchester, Lancashire and South Cumbria.
We have developed links with outside stakeholders (for example North West Deanery, Local Cancer Care Networks, Local Clinical Allergies Network and Social Enterprise) which provide an excellent network within primary care.
We rely on members to play an active role locally, promoting the College aims and objectives. It is essential to raise and maintain awareness of demographic issues and needs of GPs and patients alike, and develop initiatives to support these.
If you would like to find out more about becoming involved with the faculty we would be delighted to hear from you.
The faculty is excited to announce Mapping Uncertainty in Medicine written by NW England's own faculty members Avril Danczak, Alison Lea, Geraldine Murphy.
