Working Overseas

Working overseas is a rewarding and challenging experience. Our College recognises that the experience doctors gain overseas contributes significantly towards their professional development.

In November 1995 Council welcomed the NHS Executive Statement underlines the value of NHS staff taking opportunities for work experience in developing countries in view of "their benefit to the individual for professional development," and supports the release of suitable staff

The International Committee is responsible for assisting educational exchange and dialogue between individual doctors, agencies and medical organisations in the UK and overseas in order to promote the standing and the study of generalist primary care.
