SAVE THE DATE: City Health Conference, 30 March 2017
The RCGP London Faculties flagship event will take place on 30 March 2017 at 30 Euston Square.
Building on last year’s successful programme the conference will explore themes around new ways of working, with a particular focus on the challenges and complexities of practicing in the urban setting. Topics will be presented as a mixture of high quality plenary sessions and didactic workshops, and delegates will also have the chance to explore a dynamic exhibition and network with GP and non GP colleagues from across the capital.
Registration will be opening soon, we hope to see you there!
The Faculty supports over 1785 members, Fellows, Associates and Associates in Training in North and West London.
We support a freelance GP group which functions as a self-directed learning group that meets on a regular basis.
The Faculty offer two annual prizes to medical students. The Provost award is awarded to a medical student at St Mary’s Medical School who produces an innovative and concise project. The Adam Snape Audit prize is awarded to a medical student from Imperial College London who produces an outstanding audit in general practice and primary care.
We rely on members to play an active role locally, promoting the College aims and objectives. It is essential to raise and maintain awareness of demographic issues and needs of GPs and patients alike, and develop initiatives to support these.
If you would like to find out more about becoming involved with the faculty we would be delighted to hear from you.
The last faculty board meeting was held on 24 February 2016.
All members are invited to attend board meetings. If you would like to discuss any item covered or would like an item to be considered at a future meeting, please contact Debbie Board.
