Are you a GP trainee trying to get the hang of confident and efficient consulting in order to prepare for the CSA? Video consultation and adoption of technology has been a hot topic both clinically and politically. Primary care is encouraged to adopt innovative consultation methods. In addition to the traditional day to day GP provision. There is still a reluctance amongst clinicians to adopt video consulting due to lack of experience. This is an area of practice that requires confidence and exposure. Our course incorporates simulation within workshops, where delegates can have hands on experience within a safe environment to witness and experience the pressure of dealing with video consulting and its associated challenges. Specialist experts will be used to facilitate and debrief the participants based on their actions, and to deliver educational content within the short lectures.

The RCGP CSA Preparation CourseA must for anyone sitting the MRCGP CSA Exam. This two day preparation course, which takes place at the RCGP Assessment Centre in Euston, familiarises trainees with the assessment process for the CSA module.
This course, run by the White Rose joint initiative, will give an introduction to the AKT paper, study designs and basic statistics, clinical epidemiology, application of evidence in practice, mock exam and group exercises.
There is no need to travel further afield as this RCGP accredited course will be delivered by a team of RCGP College examiners, using RCGP College cases, with a special spotlight on what you can learn from stimulated patients about consulting skills. With a maximum of 24 delegates this course will ensure that you have the opportunity to fully contribute on the day and receive feedback on the individual consultation cases.
