RCGP Scotland Membership Engagement Group (MEG)

The RCGP Scotland Membership Engagement Group (MEG), previously known as Membership Liaison Group (MLG), has been in existence for over 20 years. The group was set up to bring together the five Scottish faculties to share local innovations and ideas to strengthen the work of the College in Scotland.

The group is Chaired by the RCGP Scotland Executive Officer (Membership) and comprises faculty board representatives and staff from each faculty and RCGP Scotland.

The group meets four times per year and aims to provide a forum for both members and staff to enhance what RCGP can do for its members in Scotland. It allows discussion and an opportunity to share good practice, innovation and events that are happening in each of the Scottish faculties, working together to ensure standardised benefits and opportunities for members across Scotland. The Group also works to demonstrate the aims and objectives of the RCGP Membership Strategy and often invites UK colleagues to discuss ideas and issues on a UK level.

The group welcomes feedback from all members in Scotland including any comments on areas that we can improve for members.
