AKT Revision - Hot Topics

Join us for an interactive evening online workshop which has been designed for those planning to take the AKT component of the MRCGP within the next 3 months (ST2 and ST3). It will assist with your exam preparation and revision for the MRCGP AKT examination. Working in small groups with AKT Trainers, you will focus on exploring and discussing difficult curriculum topics to enable you to write AKT style questions which you will test on your fellow trainees during the session. This will further aid your revision and help with your exam technique

Milagros and Metaphors - creative workshop

A virtual, hands on interactive, creative, reflective practice session with GP and Medical Humanities/Arts in Health researcher Dr Linda Miller. In this session we will create Milagros and use the creative process as a prompt for reflection regarding our patients and our own experiences. (No artistic ability required). First5 Bytesize - Appraisal Made Simple

Join us for an afternoon of getting the most from your appraisal. We look at tips on how you should prepare, how appraisal has changed since covid, toolkits and much more. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of the speaker who has been an appraisal lead for NHS England and NHS Improvement North West since 2008. This is a free event for all RCGP members. Feeling tired? Burnt out? Come and join us for relaxing day exploring nature and learning about integrative medicine and planetary health.
