ECG teaching for Primary Care.
It is always important for us to take the time to look after ourselves physically and mentally, but it is even more paramount at times like these. Yoga is a simple practice where we focus on physical and mental stillness to reduce stress and increase flexibility and should help you unwind. Join us and allow our experienced Yoga teacher, Roessa Marks to guide you through a yoga class designed specifically with GPs in mind. There will be options to suit both absolute beginners and those who have been practicing longer. The class will start with a brief introduction to yoga with an emphasis on benefits to health and wellbeing. The class with be a multi-level 60 minute class - all levels are welcome!

This three week evening Virtual Clinical Supervision Programme aims to introduce some of the additional roles in primary care, equipping participants with the skills to have confidence in supervising them in the primary care setting. There will be an opportunity to hear from practitioners already working within the primary care setting about their day-to-day work, as well as an overview of their training, competencies and clinical supervision needed. Practical steps regarding how to supervise the clinical work of these professional groups will be discussed, including induction timetables, how their work may be structured and what their competency frameworks are. There will be a focus on learning styles and feedback models and how these can impact upon clinical supervision. Communication tools such as SBAR and RSVP that can be utilised to facilitate effective communication between healthcare professionals will be discussed.
