Collaborate with the RCGP to improve patient care

Three GPs having a discussion

3 January 2020

The Royal College of General Practitioners has launched its programme calling for partners to develop clinical programmes in 2020. It is an opportunity to collaborate with the College’s Clinical Innovation and Research Centre (CIRC) to support GPs and primary care teams to deliver better quality health and care to their patients.

Across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, CIRC works in partnership with health professionals, charitable organisations and external funders to develop events, clinical resources and programmes of improvement most needed by primary care. Together we champion innovation, evidence and quality to ensure that primary care is clinically effective and sustainable for the future.

Each year, CIRC selects new projects related to different topics relevant to patient care covering Clinical SupportInnovationQuality Improvement and Research and Evaluation.

Why work with RCGP’s CIRC team on your project?

  • Clinical leadership - a dedicated specialist clinical leader for your programme
  • Project management - effective project management with experience of delivering and evaluating national projects and programmes
  • Networks - GPs working in collaboration with others to improve care
  • Education - RCGP is a respected leader in GP learning and education
  • Communication - ability to reach a membership of over 53,000 GPs
  • National Impact - programmes that have a lasting change on patient care such as our Daffodil Standards

The 2020 process will close for applications on 28 February 2020 for projects starting in April 2020.
