International membership is available to family doctors who successfully completed MRCGP[INT] accredited assessments.
Becoming an RCGP member demonstrates your commitment to achieving the highest standards in primary care. It is also an opportunity to support our important work improving family medicine around the world.
If you are an overseas resident, but have qualified as a GP in the UK, you can apply for the UK membership or Associate membership. If you are an overseas resident who has passed an MRCGP[INT] accredited examination, you can apply for International membership of the College.

Joining fees for International members 2020-2021
International fees are based on the World Bank country categorisation, dividing countries into 4 economic bands. Each band offers a substantial discount from the full UK rate, which is set at £529, making RCGP membership accessible to members worldwide.
Membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March and is due for renewal on 1 April each year. If you are joining or rejoining during the membership year, you will pay pro-rata fees on application and will be invited to renew your membership on the subsequent 1 April.
