College Member

We currently have a vacancy for a College Member on the RCGP's Audit Committee. 

This is a key College Committee with responsibility for oversight, monitoring and scrutiny of College finances, audit, risk assessment and risk management. 

The successful candidate will have skills or experience in one or more of these areas, and will likely be, or have been, either a College Faculty Honorary Treasurer or Devolved Council Deputy/Vice Chair of Business and Finance.

The Audit Committee reports directly to the College's Trustee Board and normally meets 4 times per year.  The Committee may, on an exception basis, be required to meet more frequently during the external audit (July).  

The term of office is 3 years, renewable for one further 3 -year term. The position is unremunerated, but expenses incurred (travel, subsistence, locum) are reimbursed up to the College's guideline limits.
