Welcome
There are 250 million GP consultations in the UK every year. 90%
of patient contact in the NHS happens within primary care. As the
standards and membership body for General Practitioners in the UK,
the work of the RCGP is crucial to the wellbeing of every man,
woman and child in the UK.
Our new premises will create world-class facilities for GP
education, and help to build a national headquarters for general
practice, as well as a focus for our policy discussions with
government and influencers. This will make us more relevant and
effective in the work we do, and create a home from home for
GPs nationwide.
