The North Wales faculty supports over 340 Members, Fellows, Associates and Associates in Training in an area stretching from Barmouth to Flint.
We rely on members to play an active role locally, promoting the College aims and objectives. It is essential to raise and maintain awareness of demographic issues and needs of GPs and patients alike, and develop initiatives to support these. If you would like to find out more about becoming involved with the faculty we would be delighted to hear from you.
The next Board Meeting will take place in February 2017 (date TBA) . Meetings are held in Llandudno (North Wales Medical Trust, Tyldesley House, Clarence Road, Llandudno, LL30 1TW). All members are invited to attend these meetings. If you would like to come along, discuss any item covered or would like an item to be considered at a future meeting, please do not hesitate to contact us.
In line with our sustainability policy, all our communications are now distributed electronically. Please make sure we have your up to date email address.
The North Wales Faculty strives to support continual professional development and provide support and help covering a wide variety of topics.
Forthcoming faculty events include:
2 Day Minor Surgery Course: 9am, Friday 3 & Saturday 4 of March 2017 at The Imperial Hotel, Llandudno
The North Wales Faculty has 30 Fellows. We have an active Fellowship committee who regularly review applications and encourage members to apply for Fellowship. If you wish to self nominate or nominate someone else, please contact the faculty or Central College Fellowship for further advice. We can provide guidance and support you through the process.
