Looking Forward To An At Scale Future

This North East England Faculty is please to welcome this fantastic free event to our region. This event aims to bring people together to share individual and organisational experiences, including successes and lessons learned, and look to the future to discuss how bigger general practice organisations influence the wider system. There will be a chance to hear from different at scale organisational leads who will present a case study-style overview of their experiences, which wi8ll cover quality, efficiencies and their approach to new models of care. There will also be a Q&A session, a chance to network and share individual experiences, hear more from system and profession perspectives, and learn about what RCGP, Nuffield Trust and the BMA are doing to support people and organisations working at scale. GPs and primary care staff with an interest in working at scale are encouraged to attend even if they're not based in the North East of England.

Please book now to avoid disappointment as places are limited- Looking Forward To An At Scale Future.

About us

The North East England Faculty support over 1700 members, Fellows, Associates and Associates in Training in the area from Scottish Border to the North, the Cumbrian Border to the West and the Southern Border to Cleveland.

We work with the different organisations delivering joint events and are continuously developing links with other primary and secondary care organisations. We also provide Clinical Skills Assessment courses in association with Health Education England.

We have an excellent relationship with AiTs and First5 in the area and support the delivery of lectures in the Newcastle area. These are supported by local AiTs and First5 RCGP members. If you would like to be involved in these lecture or have an idea of topic or potential speaker please email the Faculty office.

The programme for 2017 look fantastic and we're sure there is a course for you. 2018 is already filling up with new and exciting courses. Take a look at the events page or email the Faculty office for more information.

Getting involved

We rely on members to play an active role locally, promoting the College aims and objectives. It is essential to raise and maintain awareness of demographic issues and needs of GPs and patients alike, and develop initiatives to support these. If you would like to find out more about becoming involved with the faculty we would be delighted to hear from you.
