Unfortunately, it’s not possible
to comment on anything that has not been formally submitted, unless
it concerns an editorial. If you would like to submit the finished
paper, we will put it through our submission process and the Editor
will be able to e-mail you feedback. However, authors
considering submitting an editorial should either contact the
Editor via the BJGP office and discuss it, or email an outline to
journal@rcgp.org.uk so that we can
advise you whether it is likely to be welcomed, and whether someone
else is already working on that topic.
Yes, articles should be submitted
online at
http://bjgp.allentrack.net/
No, the entire peer review
process is handled electronically.
Each paper submitted through
Allentrack is given a unique reference number. You will be able to
view the progress of your paper online. However, if you need to
telephone the office, please quote the reference number.
When can I expect proofs of my
accepted paper?
We go to press on a Monday in the
middle of the month before publication, and you should expect to
receive proofs a week or so before then.
