What We Offer
Leadership competencies form part of the RCGP
curriculum for general practice, the educational framework for
doctors training in UK general practice.
"Over a 5 year period the GPs should not only consider clinical
learning and development but also the competencies around
leadership and management, recognising the importance of all
doctors' role in a safe system of healthcare for
patients (www.institute.nhs.uk/medicalleadership)"
[RCGP Guide
to Revalidation of General Practitioners Version 5.0 December
2010]
The RCGP runs its own twelve month Leadership
Programme tailored to the needs of GPs, which enables
individuals to develop the leadership style best suited to them and
their context.
