QPA Extensions and Transfers

Extensions

A single extension of up to three months may be granted on the advice of the QPA adviser and RCGP to allow the pratice to finalise their submission. Any delay may result in the practice being requested to transfer to the latest version of QPA.

Transfers

If a practice is unable to complete their current version, they can transfer to the latest version of the award. The practice is required to pay the deposit for the new version and a £200 administration fee (non reimbursable).  This deposit along with the original deposit will be deducted from the final submission fee.

Practices that transfer should be aware that some evidence might become time expired as the criteria are continually being reviewed and developed.

Swine Flu

In the event that Swine Flu interferes with a practices QPA submission then a additional 3 month extension can be granted on top of the standard extension.
