QPA Advisory Structure

Practices undertaking the award are allocated a QPA advisor whose role is to provide advice on the criteria. This has proved an invaluable source of support and encouragement to practices.

Advice is provided on:

  • How to interpret the criteria
  • The relation of the criteria to the practice
  • How a practice might present its evidence
  • Support in monitoring the progress of the practice
  • Support on the decision to submit
  • Checking the written evidence before its submission for assessment.

Practices are encouraged to submit evidence in small manageable sections. This makes checking and advising on evidence more effective and efficient.
