QPA Advisory Structure

Practices undertaking the award are allocated a QPA advisor whose role is to provide advice on the criteria throughout the whole process of preparation. This has proved an invaluable source of support and encouragement to practices.

Advice is provided on:

  1. How to interpret the criteria
  2. The relation of the criteria to the practice
  3. How a practice might present its evidence
  4. Support in monitoring the progress of the practice
  5. Support on the decision to submit
  6. Checking the written evidence before its submission for assessment.

Practices are encouraged to submit evidence to the advisor incrementally in small manageable sections. This makes checking and advising on evidence more effective and efficient.
