RCGP Quality Network

The RCGP Quality Network exists to support GPs and practice teams in improving the quality of care and the standard of services. In doing this we plan to build on our existing quality initiatives to continue meeting the needs of the profession by developing tools and projects to support patient and public involvement in general practice, appraisal and revalidation and clinical governance.

Out of Hours Audit Toolkit

An Out of Hours Audit Toolkit has been produced to monitor and improve out of hours services. It is an independent toolkit produced by experienced clinicians who have first hand knowledge of commissioning and providing out of hours services.

Patient consultation on the Quality & Outcomes Framework (QOF)

The NPCRDC, University of Birmingham and the RCGP have produced a leaflet that explains what the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) is and how patient groups and organisations can suggest ideas about what could be included in the future versions of QOF. It provides information about the QOF scheme so people can decide whether they want to argue that it should be extended to new patient groups and/or have new elements added to current areas.
