Guidance for Substance Misuse Management
The Substance Misuse Unit has helped to produce and distribute
guidance relating to 4 key areas in substance misuse management and
primary care. The Guidance Booklets (except for Hep C) are
currently out of print but e-copies can be
downloaded below:
Guidance for the use of Buprenorphine
for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence in Primary Care
The SMU will be updating these documents in line with the
NICE Guidance and updated Orange Guidelines but no timescale has
been confirmed.
