Person-centred Care in Multiple Sclerosis

This session covers the person-centred care aspects of multiple sclerosis. At the end of the session, you should be able to:

  • Communicate prognosis truthfully and sensitively to patients and share uncertainty when the patient wants this information
  • Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients with an incurable and disabling neurological condition
  • Describe the importance of continuity of care for patients with a chronic neurological condition
