Essential General Practice Update Two

Welcome to our second pilot of the Essential General Practice (EGP) update programme. Our second Update consists of 7 major items and 20 briefings.  Most should be relevant to your practice – wherever you practise in the UK, whatever stage of your career you’re at or if you work as a GP partner/principal, a salaried GP or locum in an inner city or rural practice.

We appreciate you helping us to trial this pilot programme. Before you start on the Update items, read through the introduction section. You might want to look at the section which presents the 7 clinical scenarios and self assessment questions to test your knowledge of the areas covered. Then you could focus on the EGP Update items where you have the most learning needs if you prefer, rather than working through the contents of the whole programme.
