The RCGP has now responded to the consultation Liberating
the NHS:

RCGP Update on The White Paper
The RCGP Council meeting on 10 September 2010 considered a paper
which summarised members' feedback to date on the RCGP
consultation. This Framework captures the opportunities and
concerns contained in the responses received to date and summarises
the extensive debate held by Council.

The RCGP has also responded to the subsidiary consultations of
the Health White Paper:
The College has published a document summarising the key
benefits, risks and challenges for GPs posed by the new White
Paper. The document also covers what the RCGP should be doing to
support its members.
The RCGP has also produced a new online course - Commissioning
in General Practice: Improving Patient Journeys. The course enables
GPs, trainees, primary care nurses and other healthcare
professionals to help their patients navigate effectively through
the healthcare system, increase the quality of referrals, and start
to improve the pathways of care in their local area.
