PPG Publications
Arising from the PPG as an issue of concern, the booklet aims
to give clear guidance on situations which justify and do not
justify removal from a doctor's list. It is hoped that by following
the advice in the booklet, potentially difficult or distressing
situations can be solved to help avoid the irretrievable breakdown
of the doctor/patient relationship. The original guidance was
revised in September 2004.
The RCGP Patient Partnership Group has developed an online
directory listing some of the main abbreviations and denotations
that may be used in patient medical records.
