Patient Centre content is
maintained by RCGP Information Services, in conjunction with
the Patient Partnership Group (PPG). We have attempted
to create a practical patient resource based on the most
authoritative and up-to-date content. However we recognise
that all websites represent "work-in-progress",
and encourage suggestions for improving the existing
content or expanding into further areas. Patients may also
contact us for further information on general
practice.
The RCGP has an active
Patient
Partnership Group (PPG) through which it
maintains links with patients and ensures that their concerns
are taken into account in the development of general practice and
RCGP policy. Please contact the PPG if you would like to draw
attention to patient issues of national consequence.
P³ discusses
issues being addressed by the RCGP in Scotland, as well
as matters of particular relevance to patient involvement or
standards of patient care. A new Patient Partnership Network is
being created in Scotland to provide a virtual forum for
members of the public to comment on patient issues.
