Honorary fellowship

 
This is the highest College award. Only eight Honorary Fellows can be confirmed in any one year. It is awarded for outstanding work towards the objectives of the College and can be awarded to doctors and non-doctors from the UK and overseas. 
 
An honorary fellow is entitled to attend general meetings and to receive all general notices sent out by the College to its members and to participate in the activities of the College as decided by the Council, but shall not as such rank as a member of the College. 
 
Award:
 
Honorary Fellowship of the College. No entrance fee or subscription payable. Special engraved scroll awarded at one of the two general meetings of the College.
 
Eligibility:
 
Figures of National or International standing. Further details available from the Awards Administrator. 
 
Closing Date:  21st  March 2008 and September each year
